In 2007, while teaching COMM244 Advocacy Through Media, I invited Media Critic Jeff Cohen to speak at Western Washington University to discuss independent media. In this clip of his guest lecture, I introduce Jeff to an audience at WWU's Fairhaven Auditorium on May 1, 2007. 

At WWU, students in my COMM318 Professional Communication courses and myself have contributed over the years to Whatcom County's "Make a Difference Day," a national day of volunteer service held each year during a weekend in October. Click on the video at left to see the Public Service Announcement.
